UPDATE: Gazprom IFRS net profit rises 21.15% in Jan–Sep 2015

MOSCOW, Jan 15 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian gas giant Gazprom grew 21.15% on the year to 673.904 billion rubles in January–September 2015, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement Friday.
Sales revenue grew 4.95% on the year to 4.206 trillion rubles in the period.
The company’s net debt increased by 23% in the period to 2.022 trillion rubles as of September 30, 2015, due to changes in exchange rates of foreign currencies against the ruble and an increase of short-term and long-term loans, the company said.
Debt receivable of Ukraine’s state-owned energy holding Naftogaz Ukrainy to Gazprom stood at 930 million rubles as of September 30, 2015 excluding 162.088 billion ruble provision for impairment. The company’s debt receivable stood at zero as of December 31, 2014, excluding 123.874 billion ruble provision for impairment, the company said.
